Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress, best famous for her role in Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Beta Saajan. In the late 80s the actress began her acting career. She became well-known for the character Tezaab in which she appeared alongside veteran actor Anil Kapooor. In the following film, she was a part of Aamir as part of Dil. As a child, the Mumbai-born dancer began studying at a very early age. As a young woman when she began to act, she was not successful as a lot of her films were flops. However, she eventually achieved success and was one of the leading actresses within the Indian film business. After her marriage, she took a pause in her career. She returned later. Recently, she was one of the main characters in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit is nominated to win the fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she won eight. Padma Shri - the fourth most prestigious civilian award of India - was given to Dixit. She has also been recognized for her work in the social sector.
